Sanju Samson said at the post match conference – “The bowlers have been doing great in the last four-five matches – the young people just as the seniors. I appreciate captaining them. I figure we could recognize easily that we needed the opposition to get big batsmen out. My point of view is really I don’t accompany a mentality. I simply love to continue making the most of my batting, yet these days I play as per the situation and attempt to dominate matches for my group. We will take one vacation day and plunk down and plan for the following game. “

While the losing captain Eoin Morgan said “The batting let us down. We did not have a lot of intent all through the entire innings. Didn’t put the bowlers under enough pressure. RR adjusted to the pitch much better. The wicket today wasn’t pretty much as great as it has been here at the Wankhede and that was a test in itself. Each time we had a go at taking an attacking alternative, we lost a wicket. Left us a ton to do at the back end, which we didn’t clearly do. More clear the psyche, the simpler it is (to play with aim). We need folks to play free-flowing cricket. It wasn’t there today tragically. “

RR will currently have a brief break from cricket as they move from Mumbai to Delhi and take on Mumbai Indians in their next match on Thursday, April 29.

KKR will move to Ahmedabad and take on Punjab Kings on Monday.
