Venue – MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai

KL Rahul-drove Punjab Kings take on Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. It’s been a helpless beginning for the Punjab side this season. PBKS are in 7th position, with one win in four matches. Then again, Mumbai are on 4th position with 2 wins in 4 four matches.

Both teams would look to gain confidence and momentum as part of their win. Chennai as we all know assists the spinners pretty well and we can expect Ravi Bishnoi and Murugan Ashwin both to start off the game for the PBKS while Mumbai Indians would continue with their spin duo of Jayant Yadav and Rahul Chahar. The focus of concern is the middle order for the MI who have failed to deliver and finish the innings on a high note. On the other hand PBKS have managed to put up huge targets but have failed or nearly failed to defend them.

This will be an exciting match to see. My money will be on Punjab Kings. PBKS have a chance if they decide to drop Pooran and pick up Dawid Malan in his place whose style of batting would suit the pitch in Chennai.
